The Gelepad is easily and safely applied most anywhere using the self-adhesive backing … just peel and stick to a clean surface and experience the ultimate in comfort.

Vinyl and Plastic – Clean surface first to remove dirt, oils and water and let dry. Remove the protective covering from the bottom of the Gelepad and stick to the surface in desired location. If relocation is required, remove slowly and reinstall.

Leather Surfaces – Our experience with applying Gelepads to leather surfaces is that they can safely be applied without any harm to the leather. But types and condition of leathers do vary and your experience may differ. So we advise that you proceed with caution. First test apply the Gelepad to an inconspicuous area of leather prior to installing at desired location. Prior to installing the Gelepad to the leather surface, clean and condition the leather and let dry. Remove the protective covering from the bottom of the Gelepad and stick to the surface. If relocation is required, remove slowly and reinstall. User assumes all liability for stains resulting from installation on leather surfaces

Cloth and Fabric Surfaces – The Gelepad adhesive will not attach effectively to cloth or fabric surfaces. There is also the possibility that the adhesive could stain the fabric. For fabric armrest in vehicles and chairs, use the Gelepad Universal Base which is attached to the armrest and then attach the Gelepad to the base.

Gelepad Universal Base – The Gelepad Universal Base provides for a convenient method of attaching the Gelepads to fabric and leather armrest. The Gelepad Universal base comes with two straps and multiple base plates to match with the 3x8 and 2x9 inch Gelepad sizes. To install, select the correct base plate to match the Gelepad. Then insert the straps through the holes on each end of the base plate as shown below. Place base plate with straps over the armrest so as to be centered with your desired position and then run ends of strap through buckle and position the buckle so it is under armrest. Pull tight so that there is no movement in the base plate. Install Gelepad on base plate. Trim the excess straps if so desired. Enjoy your comfort!
